Today’s Special is our Bailey Red Twig Dogwood. These are growing in quart containers for $5.81 each. These are approximately 8 to 10 inches tall. This is our #1 winter favorite!…a hardy, suckering shrub, the Bailey has red stems in winter. Flowers are white in clusters in May, produce blue fruits in late summer. Full sun to shade in any soil. Prefers moist, well drained sites. A useful plant for naturalizing a border or background. As you can see from the photo to the right, these are currently standing at 10 to 12 inches tall. These will grow to a nice 8 to 10 feet tall and wide. Zones 2 to 7.
